About this piece
A flat oval face, engraved with their profile
Cast from a wax master rather than stamped, so the shoulders taper properly and the face sits flat against the finger.
Engraving a profile onto a curved oval is the hardest thing we do. It takes two passes and we check every one under a loupe before it is polished.

Properly made
I have a signet from a jeweller that cost four times this and the casting on this one is cleaner. It has real weight to it. The profile on the face is recognisably her and it is the size of a fingernail.
