A phone snap is usually enough. Our studio redraws the outline by hand — it takes longer, and it is the only way the shape ends up looking like your animal rather than a generic one.

Bought three
One for me, one for my sister and one for my mum after we lost Bramble. All three arrived together and all three are perfect. The copperplate is worth the extra.
Exactly her ears
I sent a photo taken on a kitchen floor in 2016 and what came back is unmistakably her — the one ear that never went up properly, all of it. I have bought three things from other companies that promised this and none of them got close.
I keep it in my coat pocket
I ordered this four days after we said goodbye and I could not bring myself to approve the preview for two weeks. Nobody chased me. When I finally did, it arrived in three days. It is the only thing that has helped.
It holds everything
Collar, tag, a lock of fur and the last photograph I took of him. The lining means nothing rattles when you open it. I did not expect to care about that and I do.
Wear it every day
I have worn this for four months including in the sea and it has not tarnished at all. The engraving is finer than I expected — you can see where her whiskers were.
They got the spacing right
The lettering is set around the shape of her head rather than in a straight line, which is the sort of thing you would not think to ask for. Slate, and it looks like it has always been on that wall.
